Vikings 10 / Rams 13 - Viking Trip We lose a close game and a Viking Club thank you to "Giggles the Clown" for being our cheerleader during the game. Thanks to all the Vikings staff that made our visit to the training camp and Winter Park very enjoyable. We would like to thank Alan Page, Jim Marshall, Wally Hilgenberg, Dave Osborn, Mick Tingelhoff, Stu Voigt, and Randall McDaniel for attending our Viking dinner in Minneapolis. They were very nice to us and shared some of their Vikings stories with us. Vikings 37 / Jets 20 Our Vikings come up with a big win. The defense turned mistakes by the Jets into points. Adrian Peterson really exploded off the ball and some good runs and scored his first Vikings touchdown. Let's keep it going. Club Giveaway The first 100 club members that attend the Vikings / Falcons game at Northwood Pizza on September 9th, will receive a Mankato Training Camp poster. Kickoff is at 10:00am. Vikings / 49ers Game - December 9th We will have limited number tickets for this game and the tickets are $36.00 each. We will have more information about this game in our September 9th newsletter. Club Renewal We would like to thank all those club members who have renewed their dues. If you did not renew your dues by August 17th you are going to be dropped from the active club list and your dues are now $25.00. This will be your last newsletter.
