Vikings 17 / Lions 20 This was a heartbreaker to lose. We had too many turnovers, penalties, and mistakes to win the game. The defense played their hearts out and kept the string of defensive touchdowns going. We would like to thank Bob Resendez for giving Adrian Peterson his nickname "AD" meaning "All Day." Throw Back Jersey Day The September 30th Vikings / Packers game in the Dome will be Vikings "Throw Back" Jersey Day. If you have a "Throw Back" jersey or a Vikings purple jersey please wear it to Northwood Pizza for this game. If you don't have a Viking jersey please wear our new club tee shirt. Dome Run Derby Drawing Club members receiving the newsletter mailout received three drawing tickets for our Dome Run Derby Drawing. We hope to raise enough money through this drawing to provide the winner with round trip airfare, hotel accommodations and a game ticket for the first Vikings home preseason game. We must make it clear that all the money raised will be used for this drawing. Since we cannot predict how much money will be raised, the winner must be able to cover the remainder of the cost if we do not raise enough money to cover the expense of the trip. This is not a cash prize. The tickets are $2.00 each or three for $5.00. The drawing will be held at our Tribute to the Vikings Dinner. The winner need not be present at the dinner to win.
